A passion for the safety of children has been the driving force behind this website.

The information contained in ABCpoolsafety.org has been compiled through a collaborative effort of fire departments, cities, counties and other drowning prevention organizations. The website is intended to be used by parents and guardians of children under 5 years of age.

The website can also be used by any organization with an interest in distributing swimming pool safety information. For this reason, the website intentionally does not give credit to any one organization for its design and development.
